Honeymoon Package: Arrive on Sunday to your romantic honeymoon cabin. Enjoy 5 nights of romantic seclusion, before checking out on Friday. No wedding required!

Seven Night Week Stay: Come stay with us for 7 nights beginning on a Friday or Sunday. (Valid ANYTIME, Fri-Fri or Sun-Sun)

50% deposit due at time of reservation with the balance due one month prior to arrival. (The entire amount of your stay is due at the time of reservation for bookings within the next 30 days.)
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. Reservations cannot be confirmed or "dates held" until payment is made. Rates are per cabin per night for one to two people.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations a month or more before arrival will receive a refund minus a $50 booking fee.
Cancellations less than one full month prior to arrival will receive a refund (less $50) ONLY for the days we are able to rebook the cabin.

No shows or early departures are due no refund.
If you do need to cancel, we will make every effort to rebook the cabin if you allow us enough time to do so.
(We are just a "mom and pop" business and regret we cannot make exceptions to the above cancellation policy.)

Holiday Weekends: 3 night minimum stay
(2 night stays are welcome if ONLY 2 nights are available without a 3rd night possible. One night stays welcome for $150 if only the 1 night is available.)

Winter Weather:
A vehicle appropriate for winter mountain travel (4WD) is recommended as is planning to arrive at the cabins before dark. (Although many of course arrive well after dark in 2WD and are just fine!)
Generally, the roads are clear and travel is easy most all winter, although there may be days of heavy snowfall. NC Highway 209 from Hot Springs is kept very clear and our main drive is paved so that we can plow and salt as needed.
(The Pine cabin does require 4WD in the winter due to the length of its private gravel driveway.)
If snow is likely, you will probably want to arrive at the cabins via Hot Springs (25/70 from Asheville or Tennessee) as this route does not involve any high altitude mountain passes.
Taking 63 from Asheville or 209 from I-40 is NOT recommended if it is actively snowing.
On snow days we will be working extra hard to have cabins ready for an early check-in so that we can ensure that you arrive safely before dark.

Motorcycles, Motorhomes, and Trailers:
We ask that only return guests who are familiar with our cabins and driveways bring motorcycles. (If you have not stayed with us before and wish to arrive by motorcycle, please consult with Mike prior to making your reservation.)
Please no trailers or motorhomes.

Sorry, there are no additional discounts for AAA, teachers, military, etc., as we strive to keep all our pricing low. (We do not charge a cleaning fee or hot tub use fee as many do, and we do donate a portion of the pet fee [if you bring pets] to the local charity.) We strive to provide you with more amenities than anyone else too!

We are pet friendly! We love animals and want you and your pet to enjoy some time in the mountains! We do charge a $25 "pet-fee".
(Your pet fee is a one time fee that covers both pets for the entire length of their stay.)

We then donate $5 of your pet fee to the local spay and neuter program at Madison County Friends of Animals. The animals thank you in advance!!!!!

We have four cabins that are pet-friendly and set up for a mountain getaway with a dog with a pooch pail of toys and a doggie gate on the porch: The Paw Print, The Hound Heaven, The Holly, and The Pine (No pets allowed in The Oak please!)

* You will be expected to pick up your dog's waste from the grounds (and kennel in The Holly) and place it in a plastic baggy in the outdoor trash can.
* Pets are welcome inside the cabins, but you will be responsible for any damage to our cabin caused by your pet. All 4 pet friendly cabins feature a doggie gate on the porch. The Holly also features an outdoor kennel. The Paw Print features a fenced yard that is directly accessible from the porch.
* The pet owners are responsible for their pets (maximum of two) at all times. (Please ask us if your pets number more than two and we will try to accomodate your "family" for an additional pet fee to cover the extra cleaning to make it spotless for our next guests.)
* We reserve the right to make your pet find other accommodations if he or she at any time disturbs our other guests. No refunds will be granted to early departures due to problem pets.
(Not that we have had a single problem with a pet guest!)

When you make a reservation with us we immediately give you our personal phone number so that you can call us if you have questions or concerns. We forward that number to a cell when we're away from home and it rings on our bedside table at night.
